The biggest challenge facing today’s leaders is…to build and nurture teams that include members from all over the world. There is so much opportunity to connect and work with people who are not located near each other—but doing it well can be challenging. I believe that leaders today have a wonderful opportunity to develop the skills and find the tools to create and sustain effective remote teams.
Things that make me smile include…anything organized by color, the view out my window over Puget Sound, baby hedgehogs, and my quilting studio.
When I’m not working, I’m…either quilting, cooking, designing a new quilt, or thinking about what I want to cook next!
What matters to me…my husband and my son, keeping balance in my life, and maintaining close relationships with far-flung friends and family.
